Morrua

The Morrua mine is currently being development with planned production to commence in 2009. Within the adjacent mineral title areas there are further sites available for exploration. The site is located on the right bank of the Melela river approximately 350 km from Quelimane in Mozambique and 40km from the Marropino site. The nearby airstrip provides easy access to the site while water is sourced from the Melela river. Grid power is expected to be available to Morrua by the end of the second quarter of 2008.

A conventional open pit operation is proposed to mine the pegamite and a plant will be constructed to produce tantalum concentrate.
